The Skeleton Show
2 guitars, 1 bass, 1 drummer, standing in a pocket of space, a bag of bones. HIGHLY INFLUENCED by all of the consumer products that give us an illusion of freedom. When we are in the grips of it, we don’t feel pleasure, we don’t feel pain, either physically or emotionally. The Skeleton Show is a movement of body, blood, and bones within a reality that pulsates, pulls, and collides with destruction in our eyes. We move our muscles and distract the yearn for pleasure and pain, knowing that pain and love are only a transparent trace. We give emotion to evoke emotion and to remember that life is vast and moving with ACTION. Through face, skin, facade, and distraction, we partake in the wonderful world of horse shit and human nature, the blessings of molecule and self. We are fucking dirt, the grit, the ROCK of the earth. No boundaries, no bodies, no play on words. Bones, trees, bricks, and dreams…WE will always BE the Skeleton Show, YOU and ME.
“It’s hard to have anticipated what The Skeleton Show was about. Plenty of bands in recent years have mined that garage rock vein a bit too much. But these guys took a more wild strain of that and fused it with a dreamy psychedelia and punk with the rapidly quivering but also powerful guitar sound”. - Tom Murphy
